Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Screening of "Mr. Civil Rights"

This event is no longer on sale.

Monday January 15

3:00 PM  –  4:00 PM

This film explores civil rights attorney Thurgood Marshall's triumph in the 1954 Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education. This decision to desegregate America's public schools completed the final leg of an over 20 year journey to end legal segregation. He won more Supreme Court cases than any lawyer in American history, paving the way for civil rights pioneers like the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rosa Parks.
